Tucson Games - 2009Clan Wallace had a great turn out for the 2-day games here in Tucson Nov 7 & 8 2009. Wallace's from around Arizona helped man the tent (thank you all) and signed up a few new members during the games. The weather was perfect and Clan Wallace was well represented. In fact, the resident clan Chief James McBain of McBain (who officiates the games in town) came to Clan Wallace to have a sword bearer to lead the Chief in the games. Wallace member Ari Sloane took this honor and represented Clan Wallace.

The day got under way with Anna Wallace Cocklin being given a Letter of Appreciation
for the time and effort she puts in every year on behalf of the Society.
L to R: Anna Wallace Cocklin, Prescott Convener; Bob Wallace, CWS president; & Gary Reed, President, Prescott Area Celtic Society.
Immediately following Anna's award came the Parade of Clans, then back up to the tent
for a group photo of 18 of us, not including the two children in the stroller.
At the end of the day, a barbecue at our trailer at Watson Lake Park
with about 15 of us in attendance for dinner & even more conversation to close out the dayBack to Top
